Eircom.net Webmail to be Upgraded

The new Eircom webmail promises 200 times more storage space, increasing the current minute 5MB quota up to 1GB. That’s a significant amount which Eircom email account holders will be surely glad of. There are other improvements being made to the webmail interface too which include a calender, a spell checker and easier viewing of email attachments.
Thank God for this ! I remember using eircom webmail back in the day. They also had the problem that you couldn’t log in from another time zone, it was something to do with the way they set the cookie expiry.
This begs the question, why even bother? Somebody recently said ‘If you have to follow the bandwagon you are already too late’.
